Our Story
Founder Dan Hawkins began his career in broadcasting as an on-air personality for several regional radio stations. His smooth voice and playful energy soon led him to discover mobile DJ’ing—an exciting path that was not only more fun than sitting in a studio, but also far more rewarding. With years of experience entertaining at weddings, social events, and corporate gatherings, Dan knows what works (and what doesn’t). That expertise shapes how he selects only the most talented DJs to join the MusicMasters team. Our strict standards ensure that every client works with a likable, friendly professional who truly knows their craft.
A few years later, Sue entered the picture—and not only became Dan’s wife, but also a vital part of the business. Sue is the organizational heartbeat of MusicMasters, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure no detail is overlooked. She coordinates closely with clients and vendor teams ahead of each event, ensuring that everyone is on the same page. Around here, the motto is simple: “In Sue We Trust.”
